So since our time in the colonia my DTS has built a house in 3 days, and graduated on march 12th. I decided to stay in Mazatlan during the time in between graduation and WISE school, this put me in the spot of being the only student staying here during that time and watching everyone I had just spent the last 6 months of my life with leave, some for a few weeks and some for good. It was a really hard time for me and God really taught me how to be strong on my own in the sense that I was only depending on my relationship with Jesus and not friends or family. It was tough but I can already see why the Lord had me go through that, and I'm blessed because of it. Now the WISE school is starting on monday! It seems so soon, but I'm ready for it, I feel like I have been waiting for months...which I guess is somewhat true since I've known for three months.
On a different note, the other DTS that is here at the base is going to Haiti for their outreach, many of the students do not have all of the money they need and they leave in just two weeks. Many of these students are from different parts of Mexico and are very poor and they do not know people with money because they are also poor. These girls have been working very hard selling cookies to raise support whenever they can which has reaped more money than they were expecting but it is still not enough. I trust that since the Lord has called each and every one of them to Haiti during this time and that they will definitely go, the only question is who God is going to use to be a part of the journey. Do you want to be a part in reaching souls for the kingdom? you don't have to leave the country yourself, but you can help someone who is. please contact me if you feel God leading you to give financially to this team that is going to an island of rubble.
Thank you for your support and prayers!
